I'm being absolutely truthful; I looked at this maybe an hour ago, before your last post, and I expected the "after" to include that shitty 99-00 replica lip.

I was surprised, and relieved NOT to see it. Come back, see OP is the last post....and what do we have? That shitty 99-00 rep lip.

I'm not calling it shitty because its a rep, but at least get the 96-98 CTR rep if you have to. Huge difference, and an enthusiast will spot it a mile away.

It looks fine to me for now.
I've been looking for authentic lips around here that I can get for a deal, but I haven't had much luck. Patiently waiting, eventually one will pop up that I can swoop up for a steal of a price. Until then, I'll stick with this one.

Awakening is right, i hate how the lip sticks out on the sides. One of my cars came with the lip and now it sits on the shelf instead of the car. You want the one where the sides come straight down, not flare out.

But that little detail aside, YES... LOVE the choice of silver wheels on green, it goes perfectly with the red/clear tails. don't care for the tow hook, perhaps if it matched the wheels it'd be easier to take. Love the good looking interior, sometimes nice OEM is 100x better than some ratty aftermarket fixed back buckets and gauges screwed w/ drywall screws into the dash. I like where you've gone w/ this so far - keep it up and share your engine bay shots plz

I didnt say it needed to be authentic. Just needed to be a 96-98 lip. They make that 99-00 Civic Si/CTR style lip replica for like every Honda, and it looks outta place on every single one. Like this:

They make the replica of the 96-98 CTR, which you can pick up cheap, and fits your bumper as it should.

Unlike most of HT I'm not going to go down your throat for using rep parts. If I decide to build up a SOHC del Sol or a Civic, it will be full of replica ****. It's just that lip man. It's like a plague.

I was originally planning on going with a gold/green theme for the car. I do love the silver look on it though. I'm eventually going to get a different towhook (silver) for the rear. I won't run bucket seats and a harness because it's stupid if you don't have a cage or anything. I like the OEM look as well. I kind of want to buy some LS webs to run on it as well, but these slips were a good deal. $450 with less than 200 miles on the tires. Thank you!

Oops. I meant race seats, because without a cage they're pointless? If you roll your car with no roll cage and bucket race seats it's more dangerous than having OEM seats with no roll cage.
