Lets say I already painted my headlights gunmetal (scratched the chrome in order for it to stick) and now I want to go for the CTR look and spray the smoked clear. Would I be able to regain the chrome finish by using chrome paint and then using the smoked clear over that but I assume chrome paint is pretty shitty so I am stuck with the gunmetal right?

u will never get ur chrome finish back from those headlights. so ur pretty much stuck unless u wanna go buy some used headlights or a set of a junked car.
