bastard cicadas, their life is sleep for 17 years have sex, *** and go. and they leave nothing but a shitload of their own dead bodies laying around everywhere. In ellicott city, i havent seen much, but when i went into rockville area WOW is all i gota say i tihnk it was like seriously 94/95 dB and every step you took you would step on atleast 3, every where you lookd, cicadas. Heck i even saw a white one!

They don't eat ****. And they have NO purpose. They dig up from the ground every 17 years to grow, break out of their shell, turn from a little white shrimp looking thing to a big black red-eyed 4 winged superfly, infest neighborhoods, mate with each other, then die and leave all their bodies AND the shells the broke out of laying on the ground for us to clean up. In between some of those steps there is also a lot of noise and flying and annoying. Cicadas OWN!!
