I would definitely get the high/low kit. Gotta have my highbeams, even w/ lowbeam HID's.

But, when u get ur HID's there is no use for High Beams anyways, cuz they are so bright, my bro has em and they light up the whole road.

Maybe if they glare really bad and blind other at the same time. My HID lowbeams are aimed correctly so as to not blind other drivers, and I DEFINITELY need my high beams on dark backroads and stuff.

to headlights w/ tons of glare

Trust me, if his headlights are positioned right, he WILL need high beams.
I found that out quickly

i have the catz h4 without high beams..really awesome beam pattern and no need for high beams. please dont say high beams are necessary on a car equiped with hid unless u have been in one.

Dude, I DO have HID, and highbeams ARE necessary if the low beams are aimed correctly... now maybe it's more so on my car because I have projectors with a sharp cutoff beam, so almost no usable light is projected above the cutoff, but still, if you say you have no need for highbeams, you're probably blinding other drivers.

Same here. I've been in one, and have OEM bi-xenon projectors in my car.

You obviously have never rode in an OEM HID equipped car have you?
