You're a fuking idiot. Look at where the motor mounts, how would there be room for the tranny in a FF setup if the motor was mounted so close to the driver's side shock tower. GTFO
now, more info on the head. re-drilled stud locations? milled for the dizzy, ect? That's awesome.....

*sigh*
The head is not physically reversed. Nor the engine for that matter. You can see the cam gears are still mounted on the drivers side and the trans is still mounted on the passenger side The original F20B spins counter-clockwise. The X-Trac sequential transmission used spins clockwise for the forward gears. The eninge was altered to rotate clockwise (like a K-Series), thus allowing the use of the transmission. The fact that the the intake is now facing the front was just an added bonus.
Thanks for sharing OP. Those cars bring back many fond memories.

Re: (Kurumi)
I had always hear that they had reversed the head so that the motor could be mounted farther back to aid with weight distribution.
The block is in there the "right" way. the motor spins clockwise. the head is on backwards. If you are machining new cams, which you would to spin it in reverse, it would be nothing to put the cam gears on the "distributor" end. You'd have to do that because the timing gear and the water pump are still in the correct place. Take a look at a F/H series headgasket. turning the head 180 degrees would be easy. If you were a real dumbshit you probably could put the head on backwards by mistake.

Re: BTCC Honda Accord Touring Car - Build #003
Just to clear up some FACTS
1) the bottom end sits the proper way round
2) the head is reversed and machined to run the custom cams reversed again
(pics dont show the custom alloy welding work) coolant ports etc etc
3) the motor does spin the other way to accomodate the sequential gearbox
4) rear wheel is set far back in the arch for more a longer wheel base
also note: steering rack and axles are now in front of the motor.. *gives indication of how far back the motor sits
pulling the gearbox out only takes only 10mins... and 8 bolts...(gearbox seperates from the bellhousing and differential) allowing custom gears to be installed in no time to suit different tracks
its an amazing machine

You can say that again.
