Default Best place for TV Monitor on a 94-01 Integra?

I got the PS2 & the TV Monitor 5.6 inch ready to install. The PS2 is no problem it will go underneath the glove box, but can't find a place for the TV. I don't want to punch holes on the dash. I was thinking like getting a bracket custom made for it. Pics & ideas are welcome.

You can take out the cupholders and make a custom install right there under the radio

there's nothing wrong with having tv's in your car. i wouldn't mind having a tv when i'm chilling at a show cuz there's nothing to do. i only had tv's put on my visor so its not visable. have a custom plate done where your headunit is. its pretty nice right there and when you need to sale the car it'll just pop off.

Hey thanks for the idea!!!!!!

For those of you that don't like it, the TV will be only use for Car Shows. When I'm not showing my car the PS2 is going to be in my house and the TV Monitor put away. SMART ASSES!!!!!!!!!!!

If its for car shows then you might want to do a custom install, its cheaper to just have them customize it in the double din and have your headunit somewheres else. Other than that theirs not much choice, I just did it on the top of the dash.

The best advice would to ebay the screen and go with an older cva1005 or pioneer fold out system. It might be a bit more expensive, however it will install in the factory location, have better resolution, and can be easily reinstalled in almost any vehicle. Ive had 5 different head units of the sort. Either that or get a cheap laptop , a dvdrom drive, a gps device and aux in for your current head unit and rock the pc games, gps, and mp3s and surf honda-tech when your downtown on comapny's lan.

When the F are you going to be watching a DVD or playing PS2 in your car. Come on someone please give me a logical rational explaination for having a 5 inch tv screen in you car along with all the other crap it requires.

I never hooked up a game system or anythign just a dvd and the only reason is because when playing a cd the dvd p layer had screen savers with graphics so I liked that.

Best place for a tv and ps2 is in your living room! Unless you want to watch f&f while your racing to see how it's really done..

I would put it in the bedroom. Nice to watch a movie while going to bed.

Sounds like a lot of useless posts to a legitiment question. Why must everyone feel the need to post bullshit responses? He's asking where to put a tv in his car, not his house. I would have to agree with fritz idea since you dont wanna hack anything up.

I used to think that TV's in cars was soooooo retarded and ricey and useless. This summer my friend got a screen installed in his Del Sol, and he put his PS2 in there for prono dvd's and video games and stuff. I have to admit, it was badass!! When he told me about it, I was like "whatever man, whoop de doo." but he came over and showed me, and it was a big hit among our friends, and got alot of attention from people, everybody loved it. If I had money just laying around, I would probally do it, and I used to think it was retarded. We would be chilling outside somebodys house after partying or whatever, and start playing Tekken and the sound came out of his system, it was cool.
So before you people start ******* on the idea of a screen in a car, stop being haters, if you rode in a car that had a screen you would probally like it.

Well there are numerous angles as to why you would want a LCD system in your care. The majority of the uneducated responces are sad to say the least.

GPS Navigation - Fairly worthless without a screen. My mother actually has a new pioneer fold out simply because the 'voice navigation' in her Land Rover was worthless.

Long Trips - Passenger entertainment is important unless you can hold your own for a 3 hour conversation. And judging by the fine use of the english language by naysayers, I doubt this to be the case.

Engine Management - Even for your horsepower junkies ever see the HKS CAMP unit. It was a premature vafc system that hooked into an Alpine CVA-1000. Quite nice.

http://www.scienceofspeed.com/produc...efault_sub.asp

MP3s - Ever wanted to incorporate your 10,000 song mp3 collection into your car, well unless your rather creative , an lcd screen is a must for navigating through song selections. While your using a pc, might as well install a gps card, or even hook up an 802.11b and check weather or restraunts using public access points. How about install a NES or atari emulator...

And lastly

'Bling Bling' - This is probably where most people have a problem with multimedia. It seems most think its just to show off, and it might just be. But at least its orignal to some extent and expresses creativity as opposed to a lot of the cars on HT.

I installed all of the systems sans one by myself. If you ever want to know how to take apart the interior of a honda, this is one damn fine way to learn. I think at this point im just rambling. But the point is there are numerous 'legit' reasons for installing a screen.
