Best maaco in CT/MA area?
Hey guys, here is my situation-
Im trying to sell my car and my paint is looking pretty bad. Im getting major clearcoat peel on the passenger front fender and and a 3in by 6in oval of clear peel on the hood, as well as a spray paint job gone bad on the passenger side corner of the back bumper. I feel that getting the car repainted would really add at least $1000 to the value of the car.
My thoughts are to get a cheap maaco job at a good maaco place, do the prep myself as long as someone can give me some tips or even some help on the prep, and then bring it to them for a couple coats of the stock color and a clear coat. Hoping to spend under around $500 for this job, closer to $300 if I could.
What I'm curious on is if the job will look good enough to get a good sale out of it, and what is the best place to go to for this. I've been told that because maaco is a franchise, it's either hit or miss, so Im trying to find a good place to go that will do a good job. Either that, or find someone to do a side job for me in the area . Let me know guys, I have to figure this out in the next couple of weeks. Thanks
