Well, since your probably in line to get flamed, I'll answer your question early... You should be able to fit any shift boot you want on your automatic as long as it was made for an automatic. Don't try to get a manual one for an automatic because when you install it, it will always be pressing down on the shift lock button so you could accidently go from any gear to any gear. You don't want to accidentally go from D4 to reverse just cause you like the look Just look for a nice automatic one. You can get them anywhere and yes rice shops have a larger selection of them. In my opinion from when I was modding an automatic, go with the black shift know from OBX racing with the lock button on the top of it. It kinda looks like an oem eclipse talon auto shifter. Best looking one I found for autos. Hopes that helps...

And comming from a guy who drive an automatic still, don't try to do special stuff like put a shift know on the auto or a shift boot over the auto box. It looks and is gay. Just rock the auto with pride. Autos have their down side but they have a couple of pluses to them too. Traffic is a little easier And you can never misshift in a race I'm JK with you but I'm kinda serious too. But I'm learning to drive my new 1996 civic hatch manual right now so I do know the power that with a manual
