aluminum wing
There was a post somewhere ealier about aluminum wings, I searched for it and I think it got deleted or something. Anyway, I was wondering where I can get a good performance wing? I'm looking at some for the track and I want to make it detachable for the street. I'm also welding in supports on the trunk so I dont have any wobble at higher speeds. So now that you know what I'm doing and going to use it for, anyone know where to get a good one? *I need the rear one mainly for breaking and downforce around corners* People who want to flame, JUST DONT POST. People who have info, please post!

Just a warning, I see lots of cars driving around with their wings removed. This leaves them with supports on their trunk which look very odd without a wing.

I'm planning on taking out the bolts from the underside of the trunk and putting in rubber plugs where the wing is. I'm sure I can do it I've modified alot of body parts in my day.

ohhh, No I ment welding bars under the trunk where it would hook into, this way it would make the trunk alot stronger so its able to support it. Sorry for not making that clear

i doubt you'll be able to find any valid companies on the internet with all the crap there is out there. (i just spent a few minutes looking myself) if i were you, i'd pick up an issue of grassroots motorsports and look through there. you could probably find a few companies that make them, or if not call a couple of the "real" race shops listed in there and ask them. but i think if you really want this you'll either have to make it your self or have someone do it custom for you. oh and i found a better pic of the Realtime car by the way:
