This duplicolor stuff seems to be turning out pretty good!!
I was thinking of getting my VC PC'd candy purple, which is pretty much a chrome base with purple up top. But you guys seem to be getting great results with Duplicolor.

I dunno im not feeling the anodized lips, they look too out of place for some reason. But if you like em all power to you!

after removing the valve cover is there anything I gotta do to put it back on.. does it have any washers.. gotta put sylicone.. dunno...
(sorry stupid q I know..but I got an Mz3 so mines are just covers..)
Ive thought about painting it right in the engine bay.. just cover anything I dont want painted...

Naw nothing. You can replace your valve cover gasket if you'd like though. THey tend to get old, crack, and leak.
Everytime I see the valve cover of a non-Honda enthusiast, its always leaking like crazy haah.

Also, the duplicolor metalcast yellow can be used on the fog lights, ive seen lots of forums with people doing it, its better that buying $100 + jdm yellow fogs.... im getting some of that paint in the mail soon

well they have it at autozone kragen , most auto parts stores but i couldnt find yellow so found it on ebay fo about $10 shipping included

how do u get the anodized color?? do i have to spray the duplic color ground coat then the metalcast paint...or should i strip it down to bare metal and then spray it down with metalcast paint?

the paint is basically translucent or transparent so u can use it for metal or fog lights..
well i have herd some people say they didnt use primer on lights and u shouldnt sand it of course ... and for primer coat if u wanna use primer, duplicolor also sells a clear primer so u dont have to mess up the surface u want to color with scratches

did my girls rims with the purple. tried it w/the ground coat and w/o. turned out WAY better WITH.
