I just fit up a set of 15x9" fronts with 225 hoosier to the fronts with a 10mm spacer. Had to roll the front fenders flat and pull them as much as I could to get them to fit with a decent amount of clearance. Am running a 15x8" with a 225 hoosier at the rear.

i have 15x8 +36 with 225/45's and a 5mm spacer all around. -3 in front and -2 rear with 800lb rates. It's about a 1 finger gap and I don't have any rubbing issues at all with just the rears rolled. Pretty extreme though. A 15x8 +36 will rub the rear trailing arm for integra's, but not civics. So you'll have to grind some material off or run a spacer.

I think you are wrong because i just got a set last night and they are supposed to be 15x7.5 and they rub my trailing arm on my 98 coupe im in the process of taking some material off now to get them to fit

Well, you haven't really proved me wrong. 98 Coupe what, Civic? Are you sure you have the original trailing arms/rear disc brakes? I was speaking more towards EG/DC's because that's where most of my experience comes from.
FYI, a 15x7.5 +42 will rub in the same area on the trailing arm as a 15x8 +36
A 15x7.5 +42 has a 6mm higher offset which compensates for the 12mm loss in rim width.

hey you are a dumb *** i wasn't trying to start anything with him i was stating something i ran into while putting the wheels on. And sorry i didn't clarify its a 1998 civic coupe and yes the trailing arms are the stock original one as are the drum brakes.

Donut is correct. I had to grind a tiny bit off my RTA, no big deal.
Sickteg24 Im running MT 3751R 225/50/15s up front.
I run Toyo R888 225/45/15's in the rear.
15x8 +36. Wish we had 235/45/15 tire choices bc I can fit wider.

Here are some photos of my setup. No full car shots unfortunately.
2000 Civic Si
15x8 +36
205/50r15 Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs
roughly -1.8 degrees camber front and rear
Rear wheel wells are rolled
Did not require any grinding, I do have very, very little UCA clearance in the rear, though.
