$13k spent on an '88?
just wondering if any of you came across this. I though he/she did a good job with all the bells and whistles. I have an '88 lxi as well and would like to put up some tint, new paint, decent wheels, etc. Am wondering if it will really total near the $13k mark. I would doubt so, but anyways... opinions? thoughts?

of course he could have spent 13k easy...
the retailer got all the money for their work, he payed full price like a neeb.
I know someone out in society will think this car is hot with a real good price.

Im sure its possible. about the auto/manual the auto is based on the vin, and is automatically put in. but since he did a conversion its really a manual. same thing with a lot of cars you see on ebay.

I can totally belive it...
I have over $15k in recipts in my 87 Si hb. Cant knock it till you've experienced it. People spend money on things they like and whats worth it to them.

well, its only 6k, but i hardly believe half of what he said about it b/c it sais it is an automatic but it also said he got a new clutch and 5spd for it so i assume he did a conversion. it wouldnt be all that bad minus the rims and it doesnt say what kind of suspension he has but he spent 3k on struts and springs yet he listed what his stereo setup is.

That $3K listed was for the wheels, tires, spring, and shocks in all.
Yeah it's clean and all, but sure as hell not worth more than 2K-3K. I only got 2K for my 89 Camry, back in 2001, and it only had a few more miles (153K), and it was every bit as clean as that car (lowered, intake and exhaust, silver wheels on a silver car which looked awesome).
