Default Drivers door lock problems

I have a 2 door 2003 Honda Accord EX.
Problem:
1)The remote key will NOT lock or unlock the doors (but I do hear a clicking sound near the fuse box when i use the "unlock button" & when I hit the "lock button" I hear a click sound on the passenger door side, but not the drivers side.)
Therefore I was using the key manually to open the drivers side door, which now when I put the key into the outside door lock, the key will not even turn. So, now I have to keep the doors unlocked in order to get into my car.
The Alarm still works if I manually lock the doors from the inside by pressing down the lock *****.
The Trunk release button still works on the remote.
What is the problem & what needs to be replaced?
*first the Remote key does not lock or unlock the doors & Now, the outside drivers door lock is jammed(key will go in, but not turn).* Please help!

You know that the key lock doesn't work so start there. You're going to have to rip the whole door apart to get to it.

Could be the cylinder or the switch. #28 or 39

It may possibly be the power door lock actuator. An actuator is essentially a motor with gears in an assembly. You didn't state whether your car is a coupe or sedan (i.e., 2 doors or 4 doors). The attached picture is the parts diagram showing the actuator for a sedan.

These links show videos on remove the door panel.

Normally, after the panel is removed, the actuator is held on to the latch with a few screws. There may be other parts that need to be removed to give you easier access to the actuator (if it turns out to be the actuator).
