usually a blinking D light indicates a transmission issue, make sure this guy isnt just trying to rip you off on parts

most scanners wont read the transmission codes right, try going to the dealer to get the code read or a good transmission shop, which will have the right scanner to read those codes, there's a good chance it's just the third or fourth gear pressure switch, if the fluid looks ok, and it's driving ok, those pressure switches have a tendency to fail

In contrast, not all code reader/scanner are capable of reading Honda ABS/SRS code(s).
OP should get the car scanned with a OBD-II scanner capable of reading Honda ABS/SRS codes and post the code.

Generally, OBD-II readers/scanners can easily read transmission trouble codes, as they are powertrain related ("PXXX"). So, there is no need to go to a transmission shop just to get the code read.

Certain scanners can read all codes, you just need to identify the scanner that can read what you want it to read. The prices vary on them as well so keep that in mind.
