What is this normal sounding suspension noise?
Hi all,
I recently purchased a 2006 Honda Accord EX. This is my first Honda and I really love the car. I am the third owner and as such, don’t have the specifics of the car. What I can tell you is the following…
It is a 4 cylinder sedan
No xm radio
Probably has abs
No navigation
Has a sunroof
No switch labelled VSA on the dashboard
Anyways, here is my question…
I hear this normal sounding suspension noise sometime when I back the car down a steep incline. The noise sounds almost like a mechanical robot making an adjustment. It sounds like it is driven electronically/ like a small motor or something. It doesn’t sound like anything is broke.
What do you think the noise is? When it went to the dealership to have the airbag switched, I asked if it was vsa and they said my car doesn’t have it because there is no vsa switch on the dashboard.
Thanks,Jeff
