TPMS
NEED HELP!!!
I have 09 Accord 4 cyl Auto. My Tpms Light has been on since summer , never really paid attention in summer but NOW in WINTER I need to remove the traction control and I can't. I'm getting stuck at every street corner or little hill.
I have non original mags on the car with no snsors, not the problem because last year I could have pushed the traction control button and it was off.

Re: TPMS
So you don't have TPMS sensors and wonder why it's on? You need to have TPMS sesnors in your wheels and then verify they're working properly with the TPMS system.
And why is traction control causing you problems? You should have TCS and VSA enabled when driving in snow. I'd be more suspicious of what tires you have installed being the issue.

Re: TPMS
the issue of being on is not the problem, it's that I can't remove the traction control anymore.Last winter it wasn't an issue I pressed the vsa button and the car advanced better( when in alot of snow) this winter same tires and rims and now the traction control stays on. Maybe reset the TPMS ?? can that be done?

Re: TPMS
If you have no sensors installed then your vehicle will think something is wrong with your tires. If something is wrong with your tires, related systems like VSA and even ABS will not function properly. Install some sensors in your winter rims and this will solve your problem.

Re: TPMS
In order to disable VSA, the TPMS must be working properly. So, get your TPMS sensors installed in the wheels you are running now and get the TPMS fault taken care of.
