Theft deterrent system
I have an accord 2006 SE. It comes with a factory theft deterrent system. There is an amber light that blinks near the speedometer when it is activated.
I also noticed there is a hood pin switch.
Does anyone know if this is part of the factory system? Does the system monitor the hood with a hood pin switch?
I am asking cause I also have a remote started on the car. I am not sure if the hood pin switch was installed as part of the remote starter or part of the factory theft deterrent system?
The car was bought used.
