Rodent gnawed through connector wiring

Rodent gnawed through connector wiring
2003 Accord EX
I traced down an error code to gnawed through connector wires.
It is the A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve A connector.
I'm attaching a few pictures of the damage.
What should I do? Is it possible to rewire the connector and splice to the wiring harness?
Thanks,
Susan

Re: Rodent gnawed through connector wiring
A few choices. Not much of the wire is left so if you use the one you have you will need to "de-pin" it and add a bit of wire to reconnect it.
Look online for a new connector.....part stores, specialty companies, e-bay, amazon, ect....
Take a trip to the local junk yard and see if you can "snip" off another one from a wrecked car.....not sure of the year and engine of your car or we could give different years that would work/use the same connector.
Last, you might want to think about wrapping the connection with Rodent Tape. You can do a search online for "rodent tape" and see what it is and what it does and make you own choice about it.

Thank you poorman212!
The car is a 2003 Accord EX. 4 door sedan 4 cyl.
I was thinking about de pinning it. My plan is to see what the pins look like and see if I can reuse them. I believe that I can use the wire on the other site of the damage and just put the pins on that? and just stick them into the connector, then plug the connector make in. How does that sound?
I appreciate your help.
