Rear Caliper disassembly/rebuild - 8th Gen Accord V6 (2012)
My car is a 2012 Accord V6 Coupe EX-L. I have searched the internet endlessly and have found rebuild videos for calipers with the male stud in the caliper (attached with a c clip) but my caliper is opposite (See attached photos), it has the male stud on the piston. The internals of the caliper are not held with a c clip and I can not determine how to disassemble. It looks like I need to compress and rotate to remove but that has not worked to this point. All of this started because my park brake was sticking and I need to disassemble the caliper to get to the sticking brake lever. I'm sure there is a "special" tool to disassembly but if someone can let me know how it assembles or what to do to take it apart I will make a "special" tool if I need to.
Thanks in advance.

The way the overhaul kit is sold on Honda, it does not appear the caliper is meant to be disassembled any further than you have it. The tooling is probably a one-off build for those calipers.

Thanks, I thought it was going to be difficult. The parts stores include a core charge so I know they can be rebuilt and figured there would be special tooling. Just hoping someone knew what way to turn/twist/pull, etc to do the disassembly. I may end up buying one to cut open and determine how it comes apart so I can re-use the ones on my car.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
