Radio Code Vs Navigation Code

Radio Code Vs Navigation Code
Crap, I had no idea that Navigation code is not same as radio code. When I bought it from a guy last year he only gave me navigation 4 digit code.
I guess I am calling Honda in the morning, who will prolly charge me arm and a leg for 5 digits.
Wish I was American since there is a online site to get codes :
https://radio-navicode.honda.com/
But I am in Canada
Btw, my serial number is
U2200 L0202 if anyone can help a bratha out.
Thanks guys.

Re: Radio Code Vs Navigation Code
update:
Went to parts at dealer. Girl looked up my serial no and gave me 5 digits for radio........which is wrong.
Long story short 2006 accord with navigation has 4 digits both for nav and radio, not 5 like other Accords.
Btw manual does not mention this. First it says (even for Navi cars) that Radio has 5 digit code.
Then it starts to say enter first digit, then enter the remaining 3 ? HUH ?
So guys beware if you have navi.
I finally found a Honda guy who knew what he was doing. I saw him press Map, Menu and Cancel button together to get into a diagnostic mode (BEWARE: Don't try this at home) and get into more details to get another serial number.
This menu has lots of fun stuff (again Manual ignores this.)

Re: Radio Code Vs Navigation Code
Hey folks,
A quick tip that could possibly help you find Navi or radio codes you are looking for.
If you still have the service history booklet which came with the car when it was brand new, it could be written in there. Those booklets should be in the glovebox or somewhere in the car.
They could either be written down on the first page of that, or there could be a little white sticker with both serial number and code of the radio/navi unit. Stickers vary with certain models.
Look around the glovebox area for the little white stickers as well. Some dealerships place this sticker there during the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection).
If none of this found, hopefully you can call your local Honda/Acura dealership, and find a friendly service adviser who could help you with retrieving your codes. Have the serial number and possibly your VIN ready.
Hope this helps!
