I am a new member here and I own a 7 gen accord coupe. I have just recently realized that my door makes a loud sound whenever it gets to the half way point or when the door is opened fully. I don't know if it just started happening recently or it was always like that and i never realized it..
I also checked out some of my friends car. their car makes a sound but it is a far softer sound then mine. I'm not sure if it's because my door is so much heavier that it makes a louder (sort of a clicking sound?) sound or what. So i decided to ask you guys since people here would know more about cars then i do.
I hope this is normal.. I don't want my doors to spontaneously fall off or something.

I had the same problem on my 04 accord coupe, I got fed up and decided to look at the hinge and see what exactly was causing that popping sound. It's most likely the nut thats getting lose on the hinge connecting to the door, it's easy to spot, so just tighten the loose nuts and you should be fine.

if the bolts are all tight, and the brackets arent bent, i suggest greasing up the hinges on the pivot points

Are you sure it is the hinges and not the door check assy. I'll bet it is the door check. Honda hinges are pretty good hinges plus the doors are not that heavy. Check the check. corny I know. # 19 in this pic http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/...NT+DOOR+PANELS
