Loose Drivers Seat
The drivers seat on my 03 coup has a little play in it, maybe about 1/4 inch. Whenever I accellerate or slow, the seat slides a little. It can be alarming if you don't expect it.
I checked the 4 bolts that hold the seat to the floor and they are ok, so i'm guessing something is loose in the controls where the seat is attached. I removed the bolts that hold the seat to the floor to have a look-see at the mechanism, but I couldn't find the wiring connection to unplug the seat and was worried about setting off the air bag.
So, anyone encounter this problem before? any fixes? Where/how do I disconnect the wiring to take the seat out and have a good look?
The car is an 03 EX 2 door coup, with power heated leather seats with a side air bag.
Thanks!

Re: Loose Drivers Seat (tr7driver)
mine does the same thing, but not 1/4 inch----it's more like just enough to feel it.
I took it in under my Honda Certified deal and they said that this much movement is "normal" for a 5 year old car. If it moved 1/4 inch, then I would have a problem with it, but mine is minimal, so I haven't gotten it fixed yet.

Re: Loose Drivers Seat (tr7driver)
I have seen on several forums that the warranty replacement of rails tend to wear and the problem appears again. My warranty expired a while back, so I'm looking at fixing this myself. Anyone have an exploded view of the driver's power seat or have a diy for this?
