Hey guys, i just installed a V2 intake on my 04 EX. The only thing i didn't do is disconnect the battery and everything works fine, no check engine lights. Do I definitly need to disconnect the battery to reset the computer or will the computer automatically adjust to the new intake?

Yes it will adjust over time, but I would disconnect the battery so that it adjusts sooner than later.

also before i purchased my v2, i did some research and checked the manual on Summitracing.com. Weird part, the manual on summit has an optional power adder at the bottom, where the IAT sensor goes in the intake tubing and the hex bolt goes into the throttle body. In my manual it didn't have this...is this worth doing?
