Hi all,
Need some help here please,
I bought a 2010 Accord V6 from an original owner, and while going through the manual I found that my audio system has a USB facility. When I tried to use my USB flash drive and listen to music files, I wasn't able to insert the flash drive in the port. After checking it thoroughly, I found it is a strange USB port.
Can someone direct me what kind of USB is that?

Don't know without seeing it, post a pic. You can also call the dealer and ask them if there is an adapter.

I guess you need to use a special cable: USB <-> a strange Honda port.

2010 Accord V6 stock audio does not have a USB port. Where does it say that in the maual? Are we talking about U.S. models? Are we talking about OEM?

Some owners do wire one. Rather "easy" mod from what I read.

the 8th gens had them... but they were in the back of the head unit. you had to take the radio out, connect a feed line with USB female on the other end and route that to a place where you could get access on a daily basis.

there is only one type USB OP.

yes u have to remove the OE radio to check it out..always wondered if it was just a plug and go...what accessory do you go to to use it?
