Fog light instal on a 2003 accord ex coupe.
1. Gather together kit, tools, extra zip ties, and beer. (beer is not needed but is a nice added incentive.)
tools I used are:
- standard, and #2 philips screw drivers
- 3/8 ratchet
- 10mm - 3/8 socket
- 6in - 3/8 extension
- automotive pick
- sand paper
- side dikes / wire cutters ( to clean up the excess on the wire ties only )
2. Start by opening your hood.
3. Remove your negative terminal, but make sure you have the code to your radio first.
4. Remove the radiator shroud with standard screw driver
there is one plastic screw in the upper corners that you will need to take off with the philip head screw driver.
5. Remove the front bumper cover.
Most just need the standard screw driver. You will need the 10mm to take off bolts on either corner. Then in the wheel wells hide a philips screw. When you have all those removed, then carefully use the pick to release the clips on the bumper cover hidden under the headlights and on the side.
6. Take out the stock covers of were the fog lights will be. Sorry no pic of these. I already did this step before. It is not reversible! With a little bit of pressure they will pop right out. no cutting required.
7. Mount the fog light housing
My kit came with brackets that I installed with the supplied clips, screws, and bolts.
I installed the light housing after the brackets for ease.
8. Remove air induction tube. once again I did this last time, along with the resonator, so no pics but the tube should just pull out.
9. Run foglight harness threw front frame.
10. Remove air box. I know I am slacking by not reinstalling mine to just get the few extra pictures, but hell. well this is kinda close.
11. Remove relay on the side of the fuse box
The flat screw drive helps, and it pulls up.
12. Remove fuse box.
There are two 10mm bolts that on the box then it pulls right up.
13. Carefully use the pic or standard screw driver to unlock the bottom cover of the fuse box, then pull the bottom cover out of the way.
14. Remove 20, and 14 pin connectors from center of panel.
15. Remove lock on the 20, and 14 pin connectors with screw driver.
Be careful as I broke the fragile plastic strips. don't worry to much though as those just the lock on the terminals. it will still lock in place.
You will have to refer to the manual for the proper placement of the three pins.
16. Insert the pins in the proper place on the terminals.
Finish putting the pins in. Double checking the placement, reinstall the locks, and then put the terminals back in to place.
17. Now fine the three pin connector on the oem harness. Then plug it into the three plug connector from the fog light harness.
18. Reinstall the bottom cover to the fuse box, then bolt the fuse box back in place.
19. Instal 20 amp fuse into front right corner.
20. Mount the two relays on your front upper strut bar.
21. Now go back to the front of the car and remove the hood latch cover.
22. Take off the bottom bolt to the hood latch, sand down the paint, and use that bottom bolt location for the ground loop.
23. Use the zip ties to tie the foglight harness along to the oem harness. Make sure that you have enough slack on the ends to plug the connectors to the lights.
24. Reinstall the hood latch cover, front bumper cover, splash guards, and radiator cover. Make sure that you cut the excess of the zip ties, before reinstalling the bumper cover. You may want to plug in the fog lights to, but it is not necessary. You can connect them threw the bottom grill.
25. Break time. Sit back and enjoy the face lift to the front, then move onto the inside to finish up.
26. Pop out the three switches to the left of the steering wheel, and then take out the blank cover plate.
Disconnect the TCS, and moon roof switches.
27. Remove the screw and clips on the middle dash cover.
28. Remove the lower dash cover.
29. Install the foglight harness to the top right of the inside fuse box.
30. Instal the three and two pin terminals of the fog light harness to the oem harness.
31. Install ground loop to the bracket on the steering wheel cross bar.
32. Run fog light switch connector up and zip tie all the wires together.
33. Reinstall lower and middle dash covers.
34. Install the foglight switch to the removed cover spot. Plug the fog light, moon roof, and tcs switch.
35. Push the switches back into the dash, reconnect the battery, then test out your new lights.
This is before.
Now this is after.
I still have not gotten the lights to work, and will not have another chance to test the voltage till monday damn work. The relay is clicking, but I am not getting power to the fogs.

Re: e-bay Fog light instal on a 2003 accord ex coupe. lots of pics!
Hi hondaaccord,
Could You help me?
I bought a front foglight set. Just only the lamps.
I need some informations:
Could You have any information about the terminals? What type is it? Do you have a picture about it? I can't pull out another terminal. I can't compare.
Do You have feedback light on your milage?
Do You know what is that wire wich goes to this feedback light?
Sorry for my lot of questions.
Thank You for Your help!
