Bad News: My 2001 Honda Accord LX with only 80k miles got totaled by a hit n run driver last week.

Good News: I just bought a 2007 Honda Accord VP with only 42k miles.

Before I tow my 2001 to the junkyard, what are some parts I can salvage that will be compatible with my 2007 Honda Accord?

Ive already taken the floor mats, gas cap, and car jack out. Im guessing the tires and battery will fit? Spark plugs?

Can anyone think of some other parts that are worth salvaging?

Or a good website to use to determine which parts are compatible between the two Accords?

Spark plugs? Yeah, I'd probably leave those alone considering how cheap new plugs are.

Is the insurance taking the car away or are you towing it yourself? It might benefit some of the 90-02 Accord forum members if you parted it out there and it would also bring you more money than the wrecking yard will give you.
