Default Broken Spark Plug

How do i remove a broken spark plug from an 03 accord. just the treads are left everything else broke off.

If i cant get it out how much would it cost to get someone else to get it out.

chances are, you'll have to pull the head. but be more specific on "just the threads are left" got any pics? maybe?

I got this off the internet but thats whats left the threads are still in the car but the whole spark plug is out

if it broke, its probably because its very stuck in there. i think you might need to take the head off. and re-do that spark plug thread.

oh.. you know what. you might get away with sticking a flat head into the hole of the old spark plug threads, and hitting it lightly with a hammer.. then twisting it off.

Drill it out and install a helicoil...done it a few times there is a kit out there( I think Lock tite makes it) and it does work. Pack the drill bit with grease and the shavings stick to it, retap the hole with the speacial tap and install the helicoil, blow out excess shavings if anything got in there...OR use an easy out OR..use a small hacksaw blade to cut into the side of the threads lengthwise and chip it into the hole, pack it with kleenex to capture the big peices...OR pull the head, may as well do the guides and chain while you are in there...just some ideas
