Automatic Trans acts like Manual
I recently purchased a 2009 Honda Accord EX-L. The car is in great condition inside and out, but there is just one little problem. I'm not sure if this is a problem since my now defunct 1998 Accord was Manual transmission and this car has an Automatic transmission. The "problem" I'm having, or something I noticed is when I try to get on the highway. I'm usually running about 35-40 mph when getting on the HWY, so I hit the pedal to get the car up to 60 mph. There seems to be a short hesitation, then like an invisible hand is working the gears the car changes gears and begins accelerating. I never had this type of hesitation with my 2003 Nissan Altima.. The car accelerated instantly without any hesitation. Like I said I'm relatively new to Accords so I cannot make any distinctions. I just want to be aware of problems before my 3 month warranty runs out. Right now I'm not sure if its the Torque, the Honda Engine, My mistake or something else.
