Accord Exhaust Question
03 accord coupe v6 6mt
1: I want my exhaust louder, so Im about to go to a shop soon and make my piping a little bigger (2 1/2') into 2 1/2' mufflers but Im REALLY wanting to just straight pipe it (no mufflers)
At the moment, I have rv6 jpipe going into 2 1/2' piping (no Cat) (no resonator) into a y pipe then 2" in to 2" dual borla mufflers. Now Im thinking Ill loose a crap load of backpressure running straight pipe, so if anyone can chime in on that, that would help.
2: the above stated, would it be ok to have a muffler put in before the y-pipe, then just run pipes off teh y-pipe to the bumper with tips on it? idk how that would sound or how it would effect performance ;/
Like i said before, I LOVE the way 2 1/2' straight pipe sounds, but I dont want hp loss ;/
any thoughts?
