2004 Honda Accord A/C Blower problem v6 4dr
Hello and thank you in advance to anyone who can help!
Blower not turning on at any speed for A/C or Heat. Heater blower fuse ok. Plugged in an external fan and that started to turn for a second then stopped.
This morning i replaced the blower resistor. That fixed it for about 30 minutes. I turned the car off and when I turned it back on nothing. My concern, when i replaced the resistor i never screwed it back into the slot compartment under the golve box. I just left it hanging under the glove box. When i went to check to make sure it didn't just become unplugged it was extremely hot to the touch. Does the compartment where it gets screwed into have some way of dispersing the heat and maybe I burned out this new $50 resistor? Thanks, Bob

i agree with kway....theres a reason they are mounted in the blower case.they only last a matter of minutes without air blowing on them.
