Is there a write-up floating around for installing springs/shock on an 06' v6-6spd sedan. i was helping my buddy out and for some reason the front left spring/strut assembly didn't wanna come out once we took out all the necessary bolts. I think somehow the top hat is stuck/ceased on the body of the car, because once we released the three top hat bolts it didn't drop like it's suppose to.

I was gonna try and lightly pry them apart, but my boy is acting like a pansey. Is there something else holding it up?
