No lifters. The roller rockers ride on the valves themselves. Yes, you have to set the valves eventually. Are they making noise? The manual says to check them at 100k miles, or if they get noisy.

I just did my Civic, it's got 72,000 miles on it and they were a bit out of adjusment. Anyhow I started thinking about my mom's Accord and she has 162,000 miles and never had a valve adjustment. Last time I heard the car running it sounded totally quite, but wasn't sure. Guess I'll have her bring it around sometime and check it out.
