Default 03 Accord V6 Auto transmission "FILL" Plug & RECALL FIX

I know I can fill through the dipstick....i've done that already.

But i'm wondering if anyone knows where the fill "PLUG" is?

I saw they sell a washer for it through a link BLKFLSH had...but I don't know where the plug is located.

When they did the recall fixes on the V6 automatic transmissions the line was put in where the fill plug is. I just loosened the line bracket and filled the trans through that hole (didn't remove the plug bolt). If you look between the air filter box and the fuse box at the top of the transmission, you should be able to find it.

Great...i will check for it.

Ps - do you know where they got the feed for that line that they added for the recall. I know it's supposed to shoot right on to the 2nd gear, but where are they feeding it from?

I never thought enough about it, to trace it down. I have seen that line that comes around in front of the radiator, and wondered if that was it. Now you've got me curious.

I'd be interested to know how they did it. I was a little worried at first that they had to drill or something to create a pressurized feed, but who knows.

Let me know if you figure it out....

The 2nd Gear cooler line simply branches off the differential cooler line, sharing the same feed from the radiator.

So, i should see a y connector on the output side of the radiator for the Transmission fluid?

There is no "Y" from the radiator. They simply added a branch line from the existing trans cooler line to the fill plug (mostly rubber hose).
