Wrong serial number on radio
Ok, yes I've searched, yes I've tried the 1-6 button trick, yes I've call the dealers. Please, no flames.
'94 Honda Accord EX factory cassette radio. I'm the only person to ever remove it. There is one sticker on the radio. It's on the top. It contains general radio specs, a model number, and a serial number. Apparently, the six digit code that says, very plainly, "serial number" is not the serial number you need to get the code to re-activate the radio. I've called three dealerships with the number and they all say that nothing comes up in the system for that number. WTH. There are no other stickers anywhere on the radio. As I said before, the 1-6 button trick does not work. Is there anything else that I can do short of just installing an aftermarket radio?
