Default who knows alot about f22 and f23 need help

the thing i want to know is if i can use a f23 block with a f22 head

no modification is required. F22A heads bolt up without issue. the thing to look out for is which corresponding parts to use to make it work. for instance you would need to use the F23 head gasket but the F22A timing belt. also you would need manifolds that fit the head your using. IIRC the F22B1 will work with the F23 manifolds but the F22A will need it's own or H23 manifolds.

I don't know, one guy on here awhile back did the F23A head on a F22B1 block and he could never get it to fire up. Always throwing a mis-fire code for two of the cylinders. So he had to throw the F22B1 head back on even though the F23A head is all ported and polished.

So that makes me think it might not work, but hey, I can be wrong.

oh koo cuz accord ghost told me just to use the F23 head gasket and use the f22 head and it will work ok but i have the h22 head too but i dont know how to the that frankenstine project i dont wanna brake that head

"Without an issue or modification", you mean you don't have to enlarge the 85 mm head to match the 86mm bore?
