Default Transmission issue 97 accord

I have a 97 accord LX auto, the problem I'm having is the car randomly drops down to second gear no matter how fast I'm going, sometimes I can go for miles and it'll drive normal and other times it won't even come out of second or jump back and forth from second to third, I've changed the fluid, I changed the shift solenoid and the ECU/TCU unit (both where junkyard parts) and nothing had an affect on it, before this problem it would hesitate and the RPMs would rise going into 3rd or 4th, but no slipping or any other problems, and this problem happened out of nowhere, witch makes me think electrical, any help would be greatly appreciated, I'd hate to put a tranny in it and that's not the problem

Have you checked for codes via the two wire blue connector, or the OBDII port with a scanner?

Backprobe the TPS, if it is faulty it will not allow upshifting or no shift events.
