Tranny Noise
2002 Accord 5sp LX, 35,000 miles
Anytime I get to a speed over ~35 MPH there's a loud humming noise that changes pitch with the speed i'm traveling. There are newer tires on the front end, but I dont believe this is tire noise, it seems to be coming from the transmission. I put the car in neutral and the noise does not go away.
Any one know of anything that could be causing problems like this?
Thanks.

Re: (SPEED FoRCE)
I push the clutch in, and it doesnt do a thing to the noise.
Wheel bearings was one of my idea's but it sounds like it's coming from the midpoint of the car.
It's under the certified pre-owned warranty, so my best bet is to take it in and tell them what's going on.
