Default stock injector size

Does anyone know the stock injector size for the f23a1 accord engine?

If not, how can I find out?

RC eng. can flow them to find out if you seriously want to know exactly.

I would guess 235-240 though would be about right.

Thanks

I was told by someone at a shop that I could run 7psi no problem with a 12:1 FMU, a 255 fuel pump, and the stock injectors and it would run cleaner than running the SAFC or Hack. So I was curious as to what the stock injector size is.

I would rather have the afc and some bigger injectors, someone at your shop is full of it and just selling the simplest thing to get you out the door... they obviously dont wanna to address the reality of real fuel management. just ask yourself this... do I trust him and will he stand behind that opinion and pay for the damage if you smoked the ringlands or whatnot when it leans out.

if you seen the turbo f22 thread, you know I hate fmu's aka rising rate regulators (fake management units)... sorry but I would but an afc or e-manage and happily pay more for the actual ability to tune/ manipulate the cars fuel enrichment.

everyone is so quick to throw a 12:1 fmu on anything and everything... as if thats some sort of universal fix all. when did regulating fuel pressure become mistaken for actual complete fuel management.

sorry done now...

I agree, and chose to go with 440 injectors, the SAFC, and a 255 fuel pump. This person was at a very repitable shop in the area. I do think that just an FMU and larger fuel pump would be a cleaner setup, but is a time bomb. Not knowing alot about FI, I just figure that if the disc in the FMU failed, boom.

Also, if I use the hack in a OBDII f23 accord, will I get the check engine light only running like 8psi max?

people have gotten to 10-11psi with no cel... you just have to set you values according (afc hack thread in fi forum is good reference for starting)... so 8psi is no problem.

be careful with the vafc hack too, it has a ignition advance issue to, as the MAP gets a higher voltage the spark is advanced according to honda's ignition maps, which is it advances under vacuum. the max voltage our MAP sensors puts out is 4.98 volts, and we are limited to that, with my EMS the most boost the (HONDA)MAP sensor can read is 11.8 psi.

i've read up on quite a few cars messing up on both ways. personally, the best way is a standalone. as long as u dont push either system, u can run both setups for quite a while, just dont try running more then 7psi on a FMU setup, and be very careful running higher boost on the hack, boost doesn't like a advancing spark.

thats cool to know. I don't plan to run more than 8psi since its not worth it to rebuild the bottom end. I can't get a standalone since there are no tuners in my area that tune with anything other than hondata, and I don't feel comfortable tunning it myself.
