stereo code?
i got a hand me down 4 door 93 accord that used to be my brothers so needless to say its been tinkered with. well he just recently put everything back to stock but the thing is when i turn on the stereo all it says is "code". i know if i had the owners manual it would be in there but i dont got it, soo if anyone can help id appreciate it. thanks.
You'll need to get the serial code off of the radio and go to a Honda dealership. I believe you'll also need to show proof of ownership.
the serial # is on top of the radio itself.

Just call the Honda Service Department u p with the serial number on the back of the radio.. they can bring it up in seconds.. No need to show ownership.. they could care less.

Some of them may not give a ****, but that wont last very long when Honda spanks them for giving out codes to stolen radios.
Most of them need to verify you are the owner of the car. (And radio.)

A Honda radio like you have in there requires putting the code in once you lose power to the stereo. You have to get the serial and/or model # from the top of the stereo and call the dealership or go see then. I had to do that. If you put an aftermarket stereo in there a code doesn't matter.
