I am having problem with my 94 Accord LX 2dr. It started with the car not starting and also Trans slipping.It would turn over but not start and D4 light would blink.When it did start trans started slipping and eventually stopped going into gear alltogether.Had Trans rebuilt , shop said it was a short in FAS lead and that was giving wrong info toTrans. Still had starting problem it would turn over but not start.Used Starting fluid and it would start right up. D4 light would still blink when it started but not all the time. I have replaced Fuel Pump, ignition switch, Fuel Pump/injector combo relay. Also have been told D4 blinking is Trans code 14.Have a great mech. who is stumped by this problem ,sometimes it starts no problem . He has checked TCM for burnt Resitors , which seems to have been the problem for others on this forum .Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

 

Have you checked the lock up solenoids yet? I know that bad lock up solenoids can cause the blinking d4 light

The Torque Convertor was replaced when the trans wwas repaired. When the car won't start it will turn over D4 lights blinks . I can get it started using a shot of starter fluid. D4 lights blinks but car seems to drive fine otherwise.Thanks for your help
