Rear Lower Strut Bolt

Rear Lower Strut Bolt
I managed to get coilovers on 3 of the 4 wheels. When I went to get the bottom strut bolt out, it started to strip. So instead of keep going and mess it up further, I stopped. Just wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks to get that one out without any further issues? I have a 97 EX Coupe. And from the looks of the rest, I don't think they've ever been changed. Thanks in advance.

I worked it out this morning. Bolt sheared off. Had to cut the other side and punch out the rest. What was supposed to be an easy project turned into a nightmare because of 1 bolt. All done now. Going to put together a before and after photo album.

Those bolts are a pain. When I went to get my alignment, they noticed one of the rear lowers wasn't threaded in, the bolt was too short. Previous owner tried tightening it while it wasn't lined up with the hole, and just ground down the end of the bolt
Had to get new ones from the stealership for $14, all good now tho.

I set out to do all the work myself minus the paint. Not going to invest a buttload of money, just make it how I want it for a daily driver. Probably put most of the effort into the suspension since the roads around here are garbage. And some interior creature comforts. Low and Slow
