reacceleration problems
first off 95 accord 2.7 automatic 180,000 miles timing belt one year old regular tune ups. I keep an eye on all fluids and it isn't losing any. Noticed 6 mos ago , when driving in the neighborhood 25 mph if i let off on gas , once in a while the car felt like it down shifted. Now car cold starts a little rough with surging for maybe 20 seconds then idles perfect , does this all the time now, when warm car starts right up . thats been going on the last 2 mos. I can be going 60 mph on a slight down hill let off on gas and when I reaccelerate it hesitates for a second and then jerks a little like i gave it alot of gas. I can pull up to a light the car idles so smooth u can't hear it then I take off and it cuts out, but the car starts right back up and goes fine . Does not hesitate or cut off every time it seems 1 out of 3 times it will. car starts up within 1 second everytime no matter cold or hot it just surges on cold starts for 20 seconds. hopefully someone has had this problem
Just to maybe help someone with same problem , a suggestion from an older friend that noticed I had a trailer hitch and original muffler told me to replace muffler. that solved the stall problem.
