Default re: h22 -> accord engine mounts

Does anyone know if there are any other companies that make engine mounts for the h22-> 5th gen accord? I know hasport was suppose to come out with the drivers side mount. Enjo has the whole mount kit avaliabe, but is there any other companies out there that make such a kit? Also has anyone ever thought of sourcing out the drivers side mount off a accord sir from japan? Since the h22's came stock in the sir's maybe someone could source out the part number? thanks for the help guys.

why not just use a 96-96 prelude mount on the timing belt side, you just have to grind/shave it down a bit to fit, and the rest of the mounts use the stock accord mounts.

not a bad idea, cuz i did it. the only bad thing about that is i get a lot of vibration from that mount cuz it was not grinded down perfect flat. I would just go ahead and spend the money and get the hasport mount. there are a couple people here on ht that have quoted me for 120 shipped.

no, 120 is for the driver side mount only. that is the only mount that Hasport makes for this application. you can use stock lude tranny mount, which is hte same as the accord but a lil bit stronger. you use the accord front and rear mounts. then the Hasport driver mount. that is prolly gonna be your best bet. maybe use some urethane inserts for the front and rear mounts.

After some searching it seems as if Hasport is the only option, besides the oem honda part who's part number is unknown. Enjo is out of the question, There are talks of bankruptcy in the Enjo camp and product shipment has ceased. In reply to "why don't you just use a grinded down prelude mount". I have been running this for a year and half now, and have always experienced vibrations with it. Looking to get urethane inserts so might as well upgrade the driver side mount as well.

it wasn't too long ago that i emailed hasport and to my knowledge, they still have yet to begin production on any H22 equipped accord mount(s)?

i remember seeing a SCC article where there is clearly a custom/ billet Hasport mount in a H22 accord but they never acknowledged my question regarding it?

any more info you guys? specifically who did you talk to for a quote and etc...

If you drive a ex 94-97 accord DO NOT USE THE REAR MOUNT. It is way weaker then the lx/dx rear mount and the prelude rear mount. I broke my diffrential on my first h22 tranny bc this mount is so weak the whole motor was moving. You can use the lx/dx rear mount or a prelude rear mount. I also got the vibration from my drivers side mount. Im hoping to buy a aftermarket mount soon too.

I would'nt worry so much about the side mounts. Just find some inserts or use Window Weld and you will be fine. But the front and rear mounts you may want to spend some serious money and get full polly mounts(If available) Because those mounts have the major job of controlling the engine torque.

I think place racing makes a drivers side mount and a rear mount for are cars.

sorry for bringing this thread up from the dead but i have a question and this seems to be the only thread close to what i'm looking for.

I'm about to acquire a 94 prelude front end (basically the entire engine bay is mine, mounts included). I drive an AUTO 96 lx accord and i was wondering which mounts will go onto my car for this swap? should i just use ALL the prelude mounts or half and half?

I was first just going to do a 5spd swap because my car is auto, but i came across a deal i couldn't refuse. And for those of you who did the MANUAL h22 swap into ur AUTO 5th gen accord, what mount are you guys using?

TIA guys.
