PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey guys!
i had a friend who just bought a 91 Integra SE and he say's it over heats, and the radiator fan is not runing. so he decide to check the Rad. fan wires and found out that the Positive wire is burnt, so he re-wired it and Now that the fan was on and on and on, it seems like it never stop. Well he also told me that when you start the car the fan automatic came on and never stop. Any body can Help!!!!!!!!!!????!!!!!!!
When The fan Motor shorted, it took the power feed wire with it (probably melted the insulation). Unfortunately, it took the Fan Relay as well. It's now stuck in the 'applied' position.
I'd keep an eye on the associated fan motor as well. Short of a pinched wire, the motor is the only other thing that will cause a direct short.
With the fan relay constantly applied, thats why the fan is constantly running.
