at first my 01 accord wouldn't start. it just cranks once and dies.. all the lights on the dash is on. i would try starting it again, nothing. i had to remove my keys from the ignition and arm my alarm and disarm it in order to try to start the car again. same thing.. . if would crank once and give up, all the lights are back on.
where do i look first?

Either your battery doesn't have enough power (which I doubt since your lights and such work). Check your starter though, may be bad.
