I got a 95 accord coupe EX, 4 cyl. Just washed the engine yesterday and now it runs differently. The car makes puphh noise when hit the gas and also slow acceleration as though water is pulling it back. Any tips let me know, thanks

 

Pull your spark plug wires off and see if there is any water down on top of the spark plugs. If there is leave the wires off and let it dry out. You can also check for water under the distributor cap. And if you have an intake I hope you covered or removed the filter before you washed.

 

def check the cap like tas said. I power washed my motor when I first got my car and you could swim inside my dist cap. That seal there doesn't do a whole lot against pressurized water.
