this is an odd problem
ok, lets see, i drive a 1994 accord coupe LX, 5spd, i start up my car, drive it, about five to ten minutes down the road, i'll come to a stop sign or a light or some sort of halt, i'll be sitting in neutral at the light, as i put it in first to start moving, i let up on the cluth and hit the gas and the car cuts out, its so weird...
so i crank the car up again, and yea, it does the same **** again, the first time it did it i was on the highway at night, i messed around under the hood, checked if plugs/wiring was tight, and sat for ten more minutes praying (lol) and it cranked up and i drove the 20 miles home...
then i drove it back to school, it was fine, no problems, then after that i drove it from my apartment to the dining hall on campus, the car stalled out going up a hill, ****! so much traffic, that was a tough squeeze, i had to manaully roll back into the turn i came out of originally, so ok, i dont know, i moved it back into the road and it cranked up, i went back to my apt and parked it...
so here we go, drove it again, and it did the same thing, i just dont know, its so weird, i personally think its something dealing with the wiring, but i cant be sure...
I used to have an aftermarket ignition coil, took it out and rewired and spliced everything back to the original plug, which plugs into the ignition coil, i think that wiring might be loose, but can anyone suggest anything different? thanks guys.

i believe there is a recall out for your accord on the ignition tumbler or something of the sorts. ive heard of this problem before, you might want to contact ur local honda dealer and ask em about it.
First off check the wiring that you described cause that could very well be your problem. Also check for recalls on the ignition like Joe said. Start with those and see if you can solve it. If not it is gonna be a lot of guess and check stuff.
As FatJoe suggested, i'm pretty sure it's the recall problem. I know in my '97 DX, I would be driving down the street and all of a sudden the car cuts off completely. Revs drop to 0, electronics shut off, no power steering, no nothing...i'd have to coast to the side of the road, put it in park, turn it off, start up again and go. Something about the ignition system. Go to a Honda Dealer and check about the recall notice
This sounds like a very common problem. Try to hold the ignition switch just barely past the run position but not quite to the start position. This should verify if the problem lies in the ignition switch or not. If you have any questions, send them to jfastman@yahoo.com
thanks guys, appreciate your help, in the 4 or 5 posts you guys have put up, ive gotten more positive info than having three pages of posts on other 'Accord' sites...again, thank you.
