Default Odd Engine Problem

As some of you may know, i recently put a '96 LX block w/ a '95 EX head in my '94 Accord EX. Everything is running fine, except for one problem. When i 1st turn the car on, after it has cooled down, the car runs fine, vtec works, etc. However, after 10-15mins of driving, the car will not engauge vtec and cuts out sort of like it is hitting a rev limiter, but not quite, @ ~5krpms if the car is in gear, if i clutch in or put it in neutral, i can rev it to ~5.5krpms. I have CELs, no lights what so ever, so i have no clue what would cause this problem, any suggestions?

I'm not expert, but I am guessing this has something to do with the ECU. Are you sure you got everything in the right jumper?

If it isn't engaging it could be a problem with the MAP sensor or something, but I'm not sure why it wouldn't let you keep revving past 5k.. hrmm there is a VTEC lock up valve see if that is working properly. I'm doing my best man to give you suggestions man! :b
