need help with 91 EX coupe
I have a 91 EX with a F22A4. I want to get more power without going too nuts. Car is driven reg. and I don't want to have to be rebuilding it all the time. I do not drag or street race. Just want some more zip for myself. I have a DC header, intake, and a full hand built exh. I've been thinking about a Cam, head porting, electronics, and maybe a valve job. I don't want to do a swap. Id rather try to do something good with the pre-VTech SOHC. (Im weird like that LOL) Can anyone help with some suggestions? Thanks

i dont think your going to be able to crank much out of the F22. i know you don't want to do any swaps but i say you just drop a h23 in it. not the greatest engine but good for daily driving and it has good power & torque.

perhaps a small turbo of some sort might get you to the power output that you seek, with a conservative turbo kit, you can keep most of the internals on your car the same, and if driven moderately you might never have to worry about doing damage to your car, of course if your like the rest of the honda owners out here who get a wing and think they are a 911 carrerra, then your screwed either way, but to keep the existing motor, turbo...best gains...

A junkyard turbo can cost around 1500-2K (don't forget about tuning/dyno estimate another 500-1000)
A h22 usually costs around 2-2.5K
But f22a-T > h22
And its VTEC....not VTECH or VTEK or any other variation

Re: (Confuc1ous)
I know this is FnF but buy a N02 .I think a 60 shot will do.
I drive a 91 ex 4 door auto daily and threw in my old wet system and tested it out on my friend's G-Tech and showed a 1/4 mile time of 15.1 +/- . not bad for a bone stock accord.
