I have a 99 honda accord lx and recently got a tune up and after a couple days the maintenance req'd light came on and stayed on...what could be the problem?

The Maintenance Required Indicator is just mileage based and needs to be reset. It comes on and stays on after 7,500 miles, if it was not reset since the last time.

The indicator reminds you when it is time for scheduled maintenance, it is only a mileage counter. It can't really tell when oil or other items needs to be changed, as it has no sensors.
